Abandon
For this durational performance, Johannes submerged himself in the dirty water that had flooded the basement of an abandoned warehouse. For three hours he walked back and forth between the basement and the main floor where he scrapped off the water that had accumulated on his body. This water was dripped onto clothing spread around a vessel of clean water. Occasionally he would take a drink from. The action concluded with him washing himself with this water.
