Action Stills
Action Stills is a series of photographs taken from the documentation of Johannes Zits’ ongoing investigation of collaborating with ‘nature’ as ‘other’. In this performance-based work Zits engages with nature as a body to be reconciled and negotiated with. Through movement and gestures he explores seemingly foreign encounters with nature, his collaborator, along with all the discomforts of being wet, damp, dirty and slimy and with materials that cling, scratch and smell.
